Originally, the plan was for 10 teams to chisel and shape their artistic creations on snow blocks for the Revelstoke Winter Carnival含羞草研究社檚 snow sculpture competition.

Mother Nature, however, has other plans, and host, Cronometer (a tech company based in Revelstoke) has pivoted in response to the weather. Event organizer, Jessica Duerks said, 含羞草研究社渨e all wish we could make it snow, but Mother Nature is the boss here.含羞草研究社�

Instead of the snow sculpture event, Duerks is organizing a yard decor competition. The goal of the updated event is to transform your yard into a winter wonderland. Those interested can fill out the Duerks created, where they will input their address.

Duerks then plans on creating a map with the contestants含羞草研究社� addresses, so Revelstokians can check out their neighbours含羞草研究社� designs.

The best yard design will win a cash prize of $150. CEO and founder of Cronometer, Aaron Davidson said 含羞草研究社渋t含羞草研究社檚 really exciting to find ways to participate in this and lots more [community events] in the future.含羞草研究社�
