Canadian titles include 含羞草研究社淪o Surreal: Behind the Masks,含羞草研究社 in which directors Neil Diamond and Joanne Robertson trace endeavours to repatriate Indigenous masks and other artifacts to the Yup含羞草研究社檌k and Kwakwa瘫ka瘫始wakw nations.
含羞草研究社淵our Tomorrow,含羞草研究社 written and directed by Toronto含羞草研究社檚 Ali Weinstein, follows the fight to save the waterfront entertainment venue Ontario Place amid redevelopment plans to build a massive spa and indoor waterpark.
Meanwhile, 含羞草研究社淟iving Together,含羞草研究社 the directorial debut by Montreal含羞草研究社檚 Halima Elkhatabi, follows several young Montrealers as they search for the ideal roommate.
TIFF runs Sept. 5 to 15.
