The Okanagan Symphony Orchestra (OSO) is bringing 含羞草研究社楥omfort and Joy含羞草研究社� to the holiday season.

This year, the orchestra featuring tenor Ken Lavigne and the Okanagan Children含羞草研究社檚 Choir will be making stops in Kelowna, Penticton, and Vernon to sing everyone含羞草研究社檚 favourite Christmas carols.

含羞草研究社淢usic is such an important part of celebrating the holidays, and has been for centuries,含羞草研究社� said OSO Music Director Rosemary Thomson. 含羞草研究社淎dding voices to orchestra is the ultimate way to sing in the season and I含羞草研究社檓 thrilled that BC含羞草研究社檚 own Ken Lavigne will join the Okanagan Children含羞草研究社檚 Choir and the OSO for our concert at this magical time of year.含羞草研究社�

Lavigne is a founding member of the Canadian Tenors, as well as OSO含羞草研究社檚 timpanist Dominique Bernath.

含羞草研究社淚 love so many things about the holiday season, the eggnog, the lights but I especially love the music and all the memories that come from this time of year,含羞草研究社� said Lavigne. 含羞草研究社淚 am so excited to perform with the OSO and the Okanagan Children含羞草研究社檚 Choir.含羞草研究社�

This is also the fourth time the Okanagan Children含羞草研究社檚 Choir is making with OSO.

含羞草研究社� Friday, Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kelowna Community Theatre

含羞草研究社� Saturday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cleland Community Theatre

含羞草研究社� Sunday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. at Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre
