Central Okanagan students were up to the challenge on Saturday, as they competed in the annual First LEGO League 含羞草研究社楳asterpiece含羞草研究社� regional qualifying tournament.

On Feb. 10 at UBCO含羞草研究社檚 Engineering, Education, and Management Building, 13 teams totalling around 75 kids aged 9 to 16 from Kelowna, Lake Country, and Vernon competed in the event.

Central students are taking part in the First Lego Masterpiece tournament on UBCO含羞草研究社檚 campus throughout the day on Saturday.

For this year含羞草研究社檚 challenge, students had to research, explore, and create innovative prototype situations for real-world problems in the world of art, technology, and hobbies. Additionally, teams were to build a robot that was to complete missions in a timely fashion while also finding a way to improve the audience含羞草研究社檚 experience watching their creation.

含羞草研究社淯BCO is always happy to host events such as this. The masterpiece challenge is an event students take part in all around the world, in more than 80 countries.
