Kelowna high schoolers get a glimpse at college life

Experience OC is a day for high school students to check out a class and tour Okanagan College

Kelowna high schoolers had the chance to check out Okanagan College to inspire them for the future.

More than 300 students from School District 23 toured the Kelowna campus and had the chance to sit in on one of the morning classes being offered on May 2.

Associate director of recruitment and enrollment Mehgan Cabrera said, 含羞草研究社淐ollege is often daunting含羞草研究社e want them to know that it含羞草研究社檚 fun and it含羞草研究社檚 an opportunity for them to get to the place they want to go.含羞草研究社

Cabrera added that the Experience OC day lets students see just what opportunities are out there.

After checking out a college class, the high school students were treated to a hot dog lunch in the courtyard.
