Rookie Braydyn Chizen scored his first goal and added an assist, and Michael Herringer picked up the shutout as the Kelowna Rockets downed the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-0 in WHL action Saturday at Prospera Place.
Justin Kirkland added a goal and an assist in the Rockets' fourth straight win, and the third win a row during their current home stand.
Chizen, a 6-foot-6 defenceman from St. Albert, AB, opened the scoring just over five minutes into the game, snapping a low shot past Tigers' goalie Nick Schneider.
Chizen later tallied his first career assist on Tyson Baillie's 28th goal of the season.
