If you havenº¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Éç™t gone through the 170-foot light tunnel at downtown Pentictonº¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Éç™s Gyro Park, you still have time to do so.
According to Shane Mills, the cityº¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Éç™s communications manager, the light tunnel with its more than 30,000 LED lights will stay on past Pentictonº¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Éç™s first-ever winter festival º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Éç˜Frost Fest,º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Éç™ which takes place on Jan. 20.
The city first introduced the new light tunnel and all the new lights at Gyro Park in downtown Penticton and the city organized º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Éç˜Magic on Main Street, Santa Parade and Light Up on Dec. 5.
The light tunnel and the surrounding lights, as well as the lit skating rink, have given downtown Penticton a fun winter holiday vibe. The light tunnel has been a huge hit with thousands already walking through it.
The tunnel will be an annual holiday feature, said the city.
