Coalmont Road between Princeton and Tulameen was reopened at approximately 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 29, after a rockslide earlier in the day.

Drive BC is asking travellers to watch for road crews and obey signs.

The rockslide between Parish Avenue and Charles Road shut down the corridor for 14.7 km, north of Princeton.

This is the same stretch of road that was closed January 17 last year, due to a slide.

A geotechnical assessment was conducted.

A Nicola-Similkameen School District bus was reported to be stranded on the Tulameen side of the slide.
