Vernon School District has accomplished all three with its rebranding, which is now complete after 18 months.

Out is the old wooden sign on 15th Street, replaced by a colourful sign symbolizing a more dynamic view of the future.

The district含羞草研究社檚 new logo is a ripple. It depicts the beautiful surroundings and water, the many faces, interconnectedness, diversity and creative.

含羞草研究社淭hroughout the rebranding we have been led by the land and our location on the unceded territory of the Syilx nation,含羞草研究社� said board vice-chair Kelli Sullivan. 含羞草研究社淭he colours of Kalamalka Lake were the inspiration for the new colours of our logo.含羞草研究社�

The motto 含羞草研究社� Dream. Believe. Achieve. 含羞草研究社� was created by school district students, and now adorns the board office site on 15th Street in Vernon.

Students, staff, families, and the community had input into producing ideas around the district含羞草研究社檚 mission, vision and motto.

含羞草研究社淐oming out of the pandemic, they wanted to be seen, heard, understood, and they wanted to be inspired,含羞草研究社� said school district superintendent Christine Perkins.

The district launched its new website in January, and prior to that, the entire maintenance fleet of vehicles was rebranded and all internal items such as print, media, and facilities signage.
