Apex Mountain Resort has closed the skating loop due to warmer temperatures.
含羞草研究社淧lease stay off the loop as it will make it harder for us to rebuild it when it freezes later this week,含羞草研究社 said Apex Mountain general manager James Shalman.
The opening of the popular skating loop was delayed this season because of warmer temperatures in December but eventually opened on Jan. 3.
Described by the resort as a 含羞草研究社渕agical experience,含羞草研究社 the one-kilometer loop is maintained by a Zamboni and lit up every evening, leading skaters through a tree-lined ice path.
SilverStar ski hill had to close a couple of runs this weekend because of warmer temperatures.
